Network Security Engineer (Data Centers)

Security Infrastructure Engineer CISCO ISE (Fortinet fortigate) Zurich Switzerland; (Perfect German skills), Routing / Switching LAN/WAN, MPLS, Switching Backbone

The key to this is setting up many different firewalls in data centers and setting them up.

Azure firewall would be super, if you don’t know it this can be taught on the job.

Fortinet and Cisco are KEY.

Cisco ISE.

You will be looking after the entire set up of customers firewalls, various industries and security measures / parameters. You must understand the security aspect but also the wider implementation and IT-Tech behind it, such as LAN, AD, Server Environments, .

You will work together with the team to take responsibility for the engineering, implementation, operation, support, and maintenance of new IT security solutions, as well as for the optimization and upkeep of the existing security infrastructure (firewalls).

You will analyze and resolve incidents in high-availability ISP and cloud environments.

In addition, the planning and implementation of network and service expansions in the areas of IP, MPLS, and switching backbone, LAN/WAN, and networking—which are also part of the team’s responsibilities—offer you a broad and exciting field of work with state-of-the-art network technologies and excellent development potential.

Technical Requirements

• Completed technical apprenticeship and/or degree in computer science or a related field
• Fortinet certifications at FCP level
• Solid experience with security products (Cisco, Fortinet)
• Experience in routing and switching (Cisco)

Zurich based.

Remote options are possible after probation period (ie, 50% home office after 6 months)
