Hiring: Senior Java Backend Developer – Gothenburg (On-Site)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Java) to join our client’s Car Cloud Platform team within Connected Vehicle Solutions. This team builds global cloud services powering connected car experiences for millions of users worldwide.

You will work in an agile DevOps environment—designing, building, deploying, and operating secure backend services at scale.

What You Will Do

·       Develop, test, deploy & maintain backend services using Java + Spring Boot

·       Work in a fully empowered DevOps team

·       Collaborate with Product Owners on requirements & estimations

·       Take technical ownership and contribute to scalable architecture

·       Work with modern tools & cloud-native technologies

·       Drive continuous improvement & innovation

Tech Environment

·       Java, Spring Boot, Microservices

·       Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD

·       PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, jGroups

·       REST / gRPC

·       Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, PagerDuty

·       Git, GitLab, Maven, JUnit

What We’re Looking For

·       5+ years Java backend experience

·       Strong microservices + DevOps background

·       Experience with K8s, Kafka, PostgreSQL

·       CI/CD, test automation, security (mTLS, OAuth)

·       Automotive/connected vehicle experience = big plus

·       Strong team collaboration & Agile mindset

·       Fluent English
