Cyber Security Engineer – Automotive

Contract: Long-term assignment (6 months + extensions)

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to work with advanced cybersecurity in a technically complex and safety-critical automotive environment, supporting specially adapted vehicle platforms.

In this role, you will work hands-on with TARA, safety assessments, cybersecurity concepts, architecture reviews, and ensuring alignment with ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams, acting as a key point of contact for cybersecurity activities across development projects.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Perform TARA and cybersecurity risk assessments
• Review system/architecture designs and define cybersecurity concepts
• Ensure compliance with ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156
• Define, refine, and follow up cybersecurity requirements
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across teams and suppliers
• Support development of secure ECU and vehicle-level solutions

✅ Required Qualifications

• Experience in automotive cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of ECUs, vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and vehicle architecture
• Hands-on experience with TARA, safety assessments, and requirement tracking
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Swedish citizenship and/or valid security clearance (mandatory)

• Experience with special vehicles or heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (functional safety)
• Background in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, or embedded systems
