Data Analyst – Corpay Plugsurfing

What We Need

We are seeking a highly analytical and curious Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role is essential for transforming large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that shape pricing, network expansion, and customer experience strategies across Europe. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical partners to refine data, build dashboards, and make data-driven recommendations that support Corpay Plugsurfing’s mission to simplify EV charging.

A successful candidate should love working with data, feel comfortable solving unstructured problems, and possess strong communication skills to translate findings into business impact.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Business Understanding & Requirement Analysis
  
  

 – Translate business questions into structured analytical problems

 – Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and data needs

 – Validate and refine datasets used for operational and strategic insights

• Data Exploration & Modeling
  
  

 – Collect, clean, and structure large datasets for analysis

 – Identify trends, anomalies, and behavioral patterns across the EV charging ecosystem

 – Conduct exploratory analyses and experiments to validate hypotheses

• Data Visualization
  
  

 – Build and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders

 – Present insights in a clear, structured, and visually compelling way

 – Help the organization understand which metrics matter

• Decision Support
  
  

 – Provide recommendations that influence pricing, product development, and customer experience

 – Analyze the EV charging value chain to identify strategic opportunities

 – Support cross-team initiatives with data-driven insights

• Data Enablement
  
  

 – Improve data accessibility and documentation across teams

 – Assist colleagues in finding, validating, and interpreting relevant data

 – Promote data literacy and metric consistency across the organization

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a data analytics role
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Superset, etc.)
• Proven track record of turning complex datasets into actionable insights
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Economics
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Python knowledge or experience with dbt
• Experience building predictive or machine learning models
• Experience working in SaaS, mobility, or multi-sided platform environments
