Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java Spring Boot.
• Implement and optimize APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure secure and efficient deployment using containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Automate configuration and deployment processes using Ansible and manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault.
• Integrate and manage messaging systems like Kafka and databases (SQL/NoSQL) such as Oracle and MongoDB.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in coding standards, architecture, and best practices.

Requirements

• Experience: 5–7 years in an engineering role with strong software development background.
• Proven expertise in Java Spring Boot application development.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Working knowledge of configuration management and security tools (Ansible, HashiCorp Vault).
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka) and relational/non-relational databases (Oracle, MongoDB).
• Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture.

Mandatory Skills

• Java Spring Boot development.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Docker and Kubernetes (or OpenShift).
• Ansible and HashiCorp Vault.
• Kafka and database technologies (Oracle, MongoDB).
• API and microservices development.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards.

Ability to work in Agile environments and use tools like Jira or Confluence.
