The QA Tester for Mobile Applications is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile applications across various platforms such as iOS and Android. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for mobile applications.
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand application requirements.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams.
- Perform regression testing after the software updates or fixes.
- Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements are testable.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
- Use various testing tools to enhance the testing process and efficiency.
- Analyze test results on database impacts, application bugs, and usability.
- Engage in continuous learning and application of test methodologies and practices.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for application improvements and upgrades.
- Maintain test environments and ensure they mirror production settings.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with testing tools and bug tracking software like JIRA and TestRail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
