Specialist – Website Design & Development

The Specialist – Website Design & Development is responsible for the full lifecycle of the company’s web platforms, including both front-end design (UI/UX) and back-end development. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving to deliver visually appealing, functional, and high-performing websites.

The specialist will design, develop, maintain, and optimize websites, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design (UI/UX)

• Create website layouts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Develop engaging visuals, graphics, and interactive elements aligned with brand identity.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and intuitive navigation.
• Conduct usability testing and implement improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure cohesive messaging and design.

Front-End Development

• Convert designs into fully functional, responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Implement interactive elements, forms, animations, and client-side functionality.
• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed, usability, and SEO.

Back-End Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side functionality and databases.
• Implement APIs, authentication, payment gateways, and integrations with third-party services.
• Ensure website security, scalability, and performance.
• Integrate front-end features with backend systems and maintain data consistency.

Website Maintenance & Management

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues.
• Manage CMS updates, plugins, and backups.
• Optimize websites for search engines and page speed.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date content across platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
• Strong experience with backend technologies (PHP, Node.js, SQL, or similar).
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify).
• UI/UX design skills and familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop.
• Understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and analytics tools.

Soft Skills:

• Creative, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

4. Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack website design and development.
• Portfolio demonstrating both design and development work.
• Experience in corporate or agency environments is a plus.

5. Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field (preferred).

6. Additional Requirements

• Ability to stay updated on latest web technologies and design trends.
• Familiarity with website security, hosting, and server management.
• Understanding of digital marketing and analytics is an advantage.
