Summary

As a Data Scientist Intern, you’ll transform raw data into business‑ready insights and ML solutions. Success looks like building reproducible pipelines, presenting clear analyses, and shipping models that meet or beat agreed metrics in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on PySpark or Hadoop for multi‑TB datasets.
• Develop, evaluate, and deploy statistical and machine‑learning models (NLP, CV, or classical ML).
• Conduct rigorous A/B tests and error‑analysis to improve model performance.
• Work closely with Engineers to integrate models into MERN applications.
• Communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders via dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• ≥ 1 year hands‑on Python coding in a professional or research setting.
• MERN stack familiarity is sufficient to consume/expose ML APIs.
• Solid grounding in statistics, probability, and ML algorithms (supervised & unsupervised).
• Experience with PySpark/Hadoop for big data processing.
• Exposure to NLP libraries (Transformers, spaCy) or CV libraries (OpenCV, TorchVision).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
