About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Technical Documentation Specialist to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly end-user documentation for our hardware and software products. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career writers looking to build a foundation in Technical Communications.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and illustrate end-user documentation for less complex hardware and software projects.
- Produce user guides, manuals, quick-start guides, and similar deliverables following established Technical Communication standards.
- Work closely with Engineering and TechComm teams to understand product features and documentation needs.
- Follow internal Style Guides, Templates, and Branding Guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Escalate issues promptly to maintain delivery timelines.
- Complete tasks assigned by the manager within defined timelines and scope.
- Upload finalized documentation into information management systems as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in writing, editing, documentation, or related content work.
- Basic understanding of tools and processes used in creating and delivering end-user documentation.
- Strong written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated accountability, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Ability to follow structured guidelines, formats, and standards.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to documentation workflows for hardware or software products.
- Interest in illustration, design, or multimedia content creation.
