Role

The Manager / Senior Manager, Strategic Projects, will lead the planning and execution of strategic platforms and programmes in emerging technologies, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to advance Singapore’s position as a vibrant deep tech hub. The role combines community-building, stakeholder engagement, and programme design to drive impactful collaborations across the innovation and enterprise ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan and execute thought-leadership platforms and strategic initiatives in emerging tech domains (e.g. semiconductors, fusion, space cybersecurity) to strengthen deep tech clusters in Singapore.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of high-quality events and programmes, including content research and curation and stakeholder engagement.
• Build, manage and deepen relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders, including founders, corporates, investors, universities, research institutes and government agencies, to co-develop strategic projects and collaborations.
• Leverage research and sector insights to identify emerging trends, opportunity areas, and gaps in commercialisation or talent development, and translate these into new initiatives or enhancements to existing platforms.
• Track and analyse programme outcomes and engagement quality, including post-event follow-ups, feedback, partner reporting and insights, to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment, cohesive messaging, and seamless delivery of initiatives under Deep Tech Central and other SGInnovate platforms.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in roles such as ecosystem development, strategy, partnerships, consulting, programme management, innovation, or stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering multi-stakeholder programmes or events, ideally in technology, innovation, or adjacent sectors.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders across industry, academia, government, and the startup ecosystem.
• Excellent project management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Independent self-starter and a proactive, hands-on attitude, with a track record of taking initiatives from concept to execution.
• Passion for deep tech, innovation and ecosystem building, and a genuine interest in emerging technologies.
