Our customer is a global leader of security products. In terms of this assignment, we provide maintenance and support for multiple high-quality datacenters around the globe. The scale and complexity of the network generate a constant stream of interesting challenges which are solved by using an evolving set of technologies that require innovation in every aspect of networking.
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in network engineering with 3+ years in supporting large distributed infrastructure with enterprise level hardware
- Skilled in different levels of networks including dynamic and static routing
- Strong in Unix-based operation systems
- Aware of TCP/IP, IPSec, SNMP protocols, and L2/L3 concepts such as LAG (LACP)
- Confident in Layer 1 troubleshooting (e.g., optical power levels, SFP specifications) and in Layer 2 technologies like STP, trunks, and VLANs
- Successful in working with in Layer 3 routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, as well as network monitoring/management platforms and IP SLA
- Familiar with security solutions, including ACLs
- Showing upper-intermediate level for effective communication in a multicultural environment
- Manage network infrastructure while applying deep knowledge of Layer 2 (switching) and Layer 3 (routing) protocols
- Troubleshoot network systems and performance issues
- Analyze packet captures and use protocol analysis tools to resolve application response time problems
- Handle complex technical network operations and connectivity issues escalated to the network team
- Take on challenges like scaling the network and adding new features to support diverse applications and services demanded by our customers
