The Growth and Mid-Market Org of LMS empowers organizations to reach, engage and convert their professional audience at scale. Within GMME, our Acquisition team is responsible for winning new logos, helping them achieve their growth objectives by utilizing best-in-class products and services.
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our Acquisitions team as a founding team member for our high value acquisition motion. This role will be responsible for acquiring new logos ( direct and agency supported) and play a key role in building this new sales motion from the ground up.
Your key responsibilities will include prospecting, managing pipelines, owning the full sales cycle, and forecasting. Additionally, it will involve creating joint playbooks, establishing handoff processes, developing enablement materials, and collaborating with cross-functional partners
Your key goal will be generating customer value by selling a range of advertising solutions that help customers achieve their business and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional enterprise seller, results-oriented, with a growth mindset and strong prioritization skills.
Responsibilities:
- Build our acquisition sales business model while managing your sales book and quota.
- Prospect into marketing decision makers at and partner closely with our agency teams on closing referrals.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing objectives, target audience, and overall business goals to provide best-in-class customer engagement
- Advise prospective customers on effectively utilizing LinkedIn’s range of marketing solutions and manage complex RFPs requests.
- Provide updates to the management team on your pipeline and sales forecast.
- Be proactive about solving problems and be prepared to shape the evolution of this new sales motion for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.
- Inspire continued innovation by regularly sharing ideas and best practices with peers and manager
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in advertising/media sales, strategy or other similar roles
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed, and cross-functional organization
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in digital media sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive growth targets
- Experience working with complex agency referrals and full cycle enterprise sales for net new business
- Ability to think strategically with a proven track record of achieving results by connecting a customer’s pressures with data-driven products and solutions.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Proven communicator adept in presenting to senior, large-scale audiences
- Strong collaborator that works well cross functionally, across the company, and externally
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and work in a rapidly changing environment
