Job Description
- Support and maintain enterprise Routing & Switching infrastructure across large-scale environments
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (Catalyst 9000, 4500, 6500, 3750, 3560 series)
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco routers (ISR, ASR, 2800/2900/3900 series)
- Engineer and implement network solutions for new and existing sites
- Configure and validate SSH, secure access, Putty/SecureCRT tools
- Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, ACL, VLANs, VTP
- Perform migrations, network upgrades, and change activities following governance processes
- Conduct peer reviews for change documentation and ensure adherence to standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for hardware deployment and site surveys
- Provide post-change support and resolve connectivity/interference issues
- Evaluate customer network architecture and propose optimization strategies
Mandatory Skills
✔ Hands-on experience with ISR, ASR, Cisco Catalyst 9000, Nexus
✔ Strong knowledge of Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
✔ Expertise in STP, VLANs, VTP, QoS, ACLs, switch stacking
✔ Experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure upgrade and migration
✔ Excellent troubleshooting skills on Cisco routers & switches (IOS platforms)
✔ Knowledge of ST/SC/LC fiber technologies
✔ Experience working with network tools: SSH, SecureCRT, Putty
✔ Ability to follow Change Management processes
✔ Ability to work in shifts (nights/weekends when required)
Qualifications
- CCNA (Required), CCNP (Highly Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Telecom/Computer Science (optional but preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and in structured/unstructured environments

- You do NOT have hands-on experience with ISR/ASR/Cisco Catalyst 9K
- You cannot work in Pune/Bangalore Hybrid model
- You are not comfortable working during nights/weekends when required
- You do NOT have strong experience in OSPF/EIGRP/BGP troubleshooting
- You lack experience with Cisco IOS-based switch/router configurations
