About The Role
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across multiple products, ensuring that our digital interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with our strategic vision. As a key contributor, you will lead design initiatives from concept through execution, collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and research teams to deliver compelling user experiences. Your work will directly impact millions of travelers and station users, helping to make their journeys simpler, smarter, and more human-centric. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and technical proficiency to craft designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of four years of experience designing digital products, particularly for high-traffic applications used by over 50,000 users daily. A strong portfolio demonstrating UX expertise, elegant user flows, and high-quality UI craftsmanship is essential. Experience working within complex, data-rich environments or multi-brand platforms will be highly valued. Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with contemporary design and prototyping tools are required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and leveraging data insights to refine designs. Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and inclusive design principles is crucial. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder influence, and a proactive approach to collaboration are vital. Bonus points are awarded for experience in travel, e-commerce, or financial services sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI design efforts across various product domains, defining and executing a cohesive vision for user experience.
- Create comprehensive design artifacts, including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed specifications that clarify complex problems.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation, maintaining design integrity throughout the development process.
- Utilize analytics, user research, and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions, ensuring data-driven improvements.
- Translate business requirements and user insights into elegant, practical design solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
- Design and execute A/B testing initiatives to validate hypotheses, optimize user flows, and measure impact.
- Develop assets and specifications that support efficient, consistent development and facilitate smooth hand-offs.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles, ensuring products are usable by all customers regardless of abilities.
- Continuously evaluate and refine user journeys through qualitative feedback and quantitative data analysis.
- Contribute to evolving and scaling the company’s design system, ensuring consistency across multiple brands and platforms.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and technologies in UX/UI design, sharing insights with the team to foster innovation.
- Bring a user-centered mindset and fresh perspectives to all design projects, driving innovation and excellence in user experience.
