📍 Laverton North VIC | Competitive Base + Annual Bonus | Career Pathway to HR Business Partner

👋 About Us

CARS24 is Australia’s largest online car dealership — and part of a $3.3 billion global unicorn that’s reshaping how people buy and sell cars.

Our Laverton North headquarters is home to over 60 sales, finance, refurb, and CX professionals, all hustling to take this rocket ship to new heights. It’s fast, it’s exciting, and we’re looking for a hands-on HR professional ready to grow into a true Business Partner role within 12 months.

🚀 About The Role

This is not your typical HR coordinator job. You’ll be right in the middle of the action — partnering with our State Head, COO, and Lead HRBP to shape the people strategy for Victoria, our largest and most complex operation.

You’ll gain full exposure to employee relations, performance management, award interpretation, recruitment, engagement, and policy. You’ll receive end-to-end HRBP training, own meaningful projects from day one, and help drive the culture of a high-performance, down-to-earth team.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Support leaders on performance, ER, and compliance matters with empathy and confidence
  • Manage onboarding, contracts, and lifecycle administration for blue- and white-collar teams
  • Interpret industrial awards and support leaders with ER/IR processes
  • Help drive engagement programs, surveys, and cultural initiatives across Victoria
  • Maintain and update HRMS platforms and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Partner with the recruitment function on blue-collar hiring and onboarding
  • Learn directly from senior leadership while shaping how HR scales in a $3B+ business

👤 What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years’ experience in HR coordination, advisory, or generalist roles
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (1 year minimum)
  • Working knowledge of industrial awards and ER/IR processes — essential
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, curious mindset and genuine passion for people operations
  • The confidence to learn fast, ask questions, and take ownership

💰 What’s On Offer

  • Competitive salary + super + annual bonus
  • 38-hour week (Mon–Fri, no weekends)
  • $500 Yearly wellness bonus + $60/month phone allowance
  • Paid parental leave at 80% salary
  • Macbook and high-level tools provided
  • Fast-tracked training to HR Business Partner level within 12-24 months
  • Direct exposure to State Head, COO, and Lead HRBP
  • Incredible growth in one of Australia’s most exciting auto-tech businesses

✅ This is your chance to join a global automotive powerhouse at a pivotal stage of scale — and build your career into a full HRBP role with senior mentorship, real projects, and meaningful impact.
