Join Globant and participate in great projects! We are seeking a talented DevOps Senior with expertise in Azure and Kubernetes to join our dynamic team in Argentina/Chile/Uruguay/Brazil.

Role Overview

As a DevOps Senior, you will play a key role in enhancing our cloud infrastructure using Azure and Kubernetes. You will work alongside our IT department to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure deployments. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline our DevOps processes and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness on Azure.
  • Implement and maintain container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system reliability and security by applying best DevOps practices.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements swiftly.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers to enhance team capabilities.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on cloud platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Azure cloud services and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with other cloud service providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps security practices and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in high-paced development environments.

Language Requirements

Upper-Intermediate (B2) proficiency in English or better. Effective communication with team members and stakeholders will be conducted in English, making this proficiency level mandatory.
