Graphic Designer(Packaging)
Cork (2 days per week required onsite)
Initial 3 month contract

Our client is a global tech brand looking for an experienced Packaging Graphic Designer to join their in-house design team.

The role
You'll design creative, high-quality packaging for new products and line extensions, from early concepts through to final production. You'll work closely with other designers, marketing, and business stakeholders, and take part in regular design reviews. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and strong design thinking really matter.

What you'll be doing

• 
  Design packaging from concept to final delivery
• 
  Work collaboratively with designers, marketing, and business teams
• 
  Translate brand and product requirements into clear, compelling packaging
• 
  Produce accurate print-ready files and review proofs
• 
  Contribute ideas, challenge design thinking, and help raise overall design quality
• 
  Manage deadlines and work independently on complex design tasks
• 
  Occasional national or international travel may be required

What we're looking for

• 
  5+ years' experience in graphic design, ideally with a strong focus on packaging
• 
  A strong portfolio showing typography, layout, and attention to detail
• 
  Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, plus experience with Figma and Google tools
• 
  Solid understanding of print processes and packaging production
• 
  Clear communication skills and confidence presenting design work
• 
  Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience
