In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Be at the forefront of research, development and implementation of generative AI applications tailored for Baltic Banking business needs.
- Develop and institutionalize best practices for generative AI across teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability in solutions.
- Navigate product development within a regulated banking environment, ensuring compliance while fostering innovation.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technologies such as self-hosted Large Language Models (LLMs), Azure Foundry (OpenAI services, Document Intelligence, AI Search etc), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) methods, and integrate innovative tools like LangChain, evaluation methodologies to ensure transparent and high quality applications that address complex business challenges.
- Lead knowledge sessions and contribute to our internal knowledge base, guides on core generative AI principles and their applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our solutions are adopted and generate actual business value.
- Make a tangible impact on the company's success through your expertise.
- Fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and contribute to solve the business problems using generative AI technology.
- Cultivate talent by mentoring more junior specialists.
- Engage in continuous learning through trainings, workshops and by working on diverse projects that push technological boundaries.

- Proficiency in programming skills with a primary focus in Python, especially geared towards generative AI development. Proficiency with with cloud services such as Azure Foundry/OpenAI is advantageous.
- Deep experience with LangChain workflows, RAG techniques, prompt optimization strategies, evaluation methodologies such as RAGAS/Phoenix evaluation protocols.
- Knowledge of classical data processing concepts such as OCR and RegEx is useful.
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD concepts; understanding cloud security concepts is beneficial for scaling applications securely.
- Proven track record of leading teams or projects successfully; ability to inspire others towards achieving shared goals in a dynamic environment. Experience working within agile software development practices is essential.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities coupled with critical thinking skills; adaptability within fast-changing regulated landscapes is key.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with enthusiasm for teamwork; effective stakeholder management experience desired.
- Skilled at articulating technical concepts clearly both verbally and in writing—making complex ideas accessible to non-expert stakeholders across the organization.
- A growth mindset — motivated to explore frontier AI developments, stay updated on AI trends, and apply learnings to real-world challenges.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or similar fields or comparable demonstrated hands/on experience.
