Currently we are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer (Typescript, react, node.js, Mongo DB) to design, plan, develop, configure, document, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications and services for use in TBOL Technologies web sites/portals and business applications. We are 100% cloud native and looking for candidates who are proficient in developing and deploying web applications in the cloud.

The Senior Software Developer will design software solutions using agile methods in accordance with business requirements. Responsibilities include analysis, application design, application development, unit and integration testing, performance testing, code promotion/review, re-factoring, and maintenance of applications.The Senior Software Developer will have extensive experience in several areas of our current technology stacks (Typescript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, JSON, API Gateways, OKTA) to help deliver our next generation of innovative applications and solutions for banking and financial services industry with extensive experience integrating and writing REST APIs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and deploy applications in the cloud using modern technologies, such as Typescript, React, Node.js, REST APIs, JSON, OAUTH2, API Gateways, OKTA.
• Lead and help orchestrate effective Agile development
• Effective collaboration with team members to achieve shared goals
• Executes and promotes development standards, including writing readable code, automated tests, and documentation
• Collaborates with other developers within the development teams to ensure best methods and techniques are used in development
• Guide and mentor more junior staff in proper techniques and solutions
• Leverage proficiently code repositories, code reviews, merge/pull requests review and approval
• Analyze technological trends and proposes formal recommendations for improvement when appropriate
• Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal and professional networks, and participating in professional organizations

Qualifications:

• High-level competence in front end technologies (Typescript, React, HTML & CSS)
• Highly proficient in server-side application development (preferably Node.js)
• 8-10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years working with modern front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
• 5+ years working with server-side languages
• Desired experience working with IDM platforms (Okta, Auth0)
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and microservices architectures, preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver product features to customers in a production environment
• Deep understanding of RESTful design principles and experience creating and consuming APIs
• Solid understanding of web security fundamentals
• Experience with revision control and CICD tools (Github and Github Actions).
• Excellent engineering approach including quality disciplines
• Firm understanding of standard SDLC, lean, and agile practices
• A quick learner and sets a high standard for themselves and their teams
• Good at coaching and improving team productivity
• BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree required
