Role: Audiovisual Designer - European Institution

Location: Remote from Europe - European Institution

Responsibilities:

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

• Creating new audio-visual content, in various formats, mainly for client's social media platforms and Youtube channel, striving to achieve a coherent visual identity of the client
• Visuals may include presentations, short videos, animated graphics and data visualisations
• Updating existing video content with new data/formats or editing them into new products
• Following client's visual style guide and guidelines for audio-visual content
• Create the concept for audio-visual materials
• Production of short videos, animations and interactive visuals as required, ready to be used on the social media platforms or other as specified in each request, by the deadline
• Corrections and updates if requested
• Editable source files, uploaded in client's library of visualisations on MS Teams at EC M365 tenant or in any of the available repositories on shared platforms used by the client
• Advice to client's colleagues as required, regarding:
  - Best solutions for specific projects
  - Development of client's visual presence on social media
  
  

Requirements:

Following skills are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in graphic design, including animation
• Understanding of relevant audiovisual production techniques and ability to create demonstrably effective products
• Experience using relevant tools and software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects and InDesign. Flourish for data visualisation
• Experiencing producing visuals and reels to be shared with other users via Canva
• You should have your own access to a library of audio materials such as special effects, sounds and music and the use of this material should be covered by an appropriate copyright licence
• The client can provide copyrighted static visuals like photos and vector files through its subscription to the Adobe Stock library. The client might request that voice over be added to the animated video
  * Filming skills
  * Technically solid and visually creative approach to audiovisual production as evidenced by a strong portfolio
  
  

Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
