We are looking for a Software Engineer / Trading Engineer to help build and optimise a high-performance trading platform within the digital asset domain. You will work on backend systems, real-time data flows, and trading logic, contributing directly to execution quality and platform reliability. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working close to the financial markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve backend components of a proprietary trading platform
  • Implement and refine trading strategies together with the trading team
  • Integrate external APIs, market data sources, and exchange interfaces
  • Build and maintain event-driven, low-latency applications
  • Support trading operations by resolving issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring system stability
  • Propose and deliver technical improvements that enhance speed, reliability, and scalability


What You Bring

  • Experience with Rust and C++ in a production environment
  • Ability to develop and debug performance-critical components
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and backend services
  • Strong understanding of API design, integration, and data processing
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL)
  • Familiarity with Redis, Docker, and basic Python skills (nice to have)
  • MSc degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another technical field
  • Experience in a trading, ultra low-latency, and/or financial markets engineering environment is a strong plus
