JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT DESIGNER (40 hours)

Hooks Creative is growing and that is why we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Product

designer who will join our design team. You work closely with our sales department and create

beautiful designs for our B2B customers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Nike and Karl Lagerfeld.

IS THIS YOU?

As a junior Industrial Product Designer, you have a passion for design and interior and you are always

looking for the latest trends and inspiration. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you manage

multiple deadlines per week without losing focus on quality and creativity. With a positive and

energetic attitude, you take initiative and bring a hands-on, technical, and solution-oriented approach

to your work. Your creativity translates into innovative yet commercially viable designs made in

Fusion 360, which you can visualize beautifully in KeyShot. You have experience in the field, are eager

to grow as a product designer, and are committed to contributing to the company’s vision.

Additionally, you have an affinity with Adobe Suite (Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop) and either have

graphic design experience or are eager to develop your skills in this area.

YOUR DAILY ACTIVITIES

- Join daily kick-off meetings with Sales to initiate new customer projects and coordinate

deadlines.

- Dive into the DNA of our customers to understand their vision and brand identity, enabling

you to design customized products that align with their needs.

- Oversee the entire design process—from the first concept and presentation to finalizing

details and creating technical 2D drawings for pricing and production.

- Stay up to date with industry trends by actively following relevant design platforms.

- Keep an eye on competitors and use these insights to ensure our designs remain relevant and

up to date.

- Maintain communication with suppliers worldwide to resolve potential design-related

challenges.

- Additionally, contribute to the creation of presentation templates using Adobe Creative Suite

for both internal and external use.

THIS IS YOU

- You have completed a Bachelor or Master's degree in Industrial/Product Design and 1+ years

of experience in designing products;

- You have experienced skills in sketching, 3D-CAD Solidworks/Fusion, rendering in Keyshot and

Adobe CS Suite;

- You have technical knowledge of production techniques and experience with different

materials is part of your experience;

- You have an eye for detail and work accurate;

- You’re good at managing your own agenda, handling deadlines well and responsibly do your

own time management is no problem;- Your speak and write fluent English.

- In addition to the right knowledge and skills, we are mainly looking for a colleague who is

enthusiastic and motivated and that wants to bring our company to the next level.

Hooks Creative designs, develop and deliver premium clothes hangers and POS (Point-of-Sales) materials. Everything a brand or store needs to offer the optimal customer experience and to

convey their (brand) story. Our inhouse design team designs and develop retail supplies custom fit to our customers. We work for international brands. examples are; Tommy

Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Nike, Karl Lagerfeld and Levi’s.
