This role is responsible for leading global expansion initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring operational readiness, compliance, and efficiency in new markets. The Senior Manager will oversee cross-functional projects, manage relationships with external international payroll partners, and optimize processes for launching operations in diverse regulatory environments. The position combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and leadership of a high-performing team to drive operational excellence. Success in this role requires the ability to manage complex multi-country projects, mentor team members, and implement scalable processes that support rapid business growth. Accountabilities

• Lead operational projects supporting market expansion into new countries and regions.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth entry, focusing on compliance, legal, and payroll operations.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure operational readiness for new market launches.
• Oversee onboarding of new global entities, including tax, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operational workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launches in new regions.
• Maintain operational documentation, including workflows, SOPs, and launch checklists.
• Monitor and report on the performance of new market operations and ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
• Serve as the escalation point for partner-supported countries, supporting issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations, expansion, or project management with a focus on global growth.
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading a team.
• Strong understanding of global expansion processes, including legal, tax, and payroll operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects across multiple countries.
• Exceptional project management, governance, and organizational skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
