ASUS is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Country Product Manager (100%) to help drive the growth of one of the most exciting PC brands in the Swiss market.


As a Country Product Manager, you will be involved in developing the ASUS product offering. You join a fast-paced business and work both actively towards the headquarter in Taiwan as well as with colleagues in and around Switzerland.


In a well-established product portfolio, you plan and provide sales support for the entire commercial product portfolio. You will also be involved in launching new products, product training, seasonal forecasts, stock management and investment application and control.


This role offers great variety. A typical day would include line-up planning for a given segment, stock, run-rate monitoring, campaign and pricing investments, market data and competition analysis, coordination with logistic and marketing team, sales support on various topics regarding your product portfolio.


Success in this position requires a proactive, result-oriented approach and a keen sense of ownership.

You will report directly to the Country Head and the Business Development Manager based in Switzerland.


Job Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and manage the product, market and customers for SYS BG products for the Swiss market. Identify and follow technology developments at key target leadership accounts within the target industries. Manage efforts with industry standards groups. Using this information, identify trends that are developing within the industries, and recommend and execute appropriate strategic and tactical maneuvers to further penetrate the industry with ASUS products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The primary function of the Senior Country Product Manager is the overall responsibility of a set product range and to develop business for ASUS within the targeted industries

• Perform a market analysis and comparison for products, pricing and channels

• Prepare new product go-to-market plan and ensure new product message is well received by customers

• Work and manage a select group of accounts to help drive the overall result

• Perform routine product training for customers

• Communicate with customers on a regular basis, analyze customer feedback and provide solutions

• Perform other duties as assigned*

About the Team

You will be working closely with our Business Development Manager, product managers, and our marketing manager to make sure you have the best conditions to succeed.


Qualifications and background

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, 3+years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Extensive knowledge of PC hardware (Notebooks, Desktop PCs, All-in-One PCs, Smartphones) and/or related technologies

• Familiarity with the Swiss PC and/or related technology product market, along with market development skills

• Expertise in planning and coordinating the logistics of promotional campaigns

• Proficient in Microsoft 365; knowledge of BIS is an advantage

• Strong organizational skills, versatile and flexible, with the ability to manage priorities and adapt enthusiastically to changing workflows

• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data and information

• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages

• Problem-solving and consultative sales skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (Native) and English, Chinese (Mandarin) is an advantage

• Ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all organizational levels

• Proactive self-starter with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

• Flexible and creative team member, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams and committees

• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

• Up to 20% travel is required
