What you will be working on:

We are looking for Senior PHP Developers to join an embedded engineering team supporting a large-scale web platform migration and modernization initiative. The role focuses on migrating and modernizing a legacy PHP platform into a modern Laravel 12 / PHP 8.4 architecture, improving delivery throughput and ensuring stable, measurable progress across multiple websites and applications.

You will work closely with client engineers and stakeholders in a remote-first, Agile delivery model, contributing hands-on to migration, refactoring, and platform stabilization activities.

What you will do:

• Migrate legacy sites, templates, and components to a modern Laravel / PHP platform
• Modernise and refactor API integrations, data feeds, and configuration structures
• Validate data accuracy across CRM → API → WordPress flows
• Support end-to-end QA, performance tuning, caching, and deployment readiness
• Contribute to backlog refinement and iterative delivery of migration work
• Document technical decisions, patterns, and module updates for internal teams
• Pair with client engineers to support knowledge transfer and platform handover
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint rituals, and daily collaboration

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PHP 8.x and Laravel (v10–12)
• Proven background in migrating or modernising legacy PHP platforms
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations
• Solid knowledge of MySQL optimisation and troubleshooting
• Experience working with templated site delivery or multi-site architectures
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD practices

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WordPress integrations
• Exposure to ElasticSearch or search pipelines
• Frontend experience with Vue.js or Inertia.js
• Performance optimisation in high-traffic environments
• Experience with AWS CI/CD, containers, or cloud deployments
• Exposure to CRM data feeds or real-estate data formats (RTDF)
