Agile Delivery Coach – Consumer Division

  • Seeking a passionate Agile Delivery Coach to join our Consumer Division – supporting business critical transformation deliverables
  • Join Our Technology Simplification Journey “UNITE”: Contribute to simplifying the bank for our customers and employees.
  • Key Role in Consumer Division: Support critical deliverables in partnership with Westpac Group UNITE and collaborate with stakeholders across Lines of Business (LOB), Technology, and Platform Teams.
  • Hybrid Working Model: Enjoy a flexible work arrangement with two days in the office and work-from-home options (Sydney-based).
  • Promote Agile Methodologies: Drive the adoption and enhancement of agile ways of working.

How will I help?

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Coach to play a pivotal role in guiding our teams and organization toward successful Agile adoption. As an Agile Delivery Coach, you will drive continuous improvement, foster a culture of collaboration, and align Agile practices with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Presence and Influencing: Simplify complex scenarios to remove blockers and facilitate agreement and decisions.
  • Transformation Program Experience: Leverage Agile Delivery to support business leaders in major transformation programs.
  • Agile Methodologies Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Facilitation and Coaching: Provide excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring to teams.
  • Performance Assessment and Improvement: Assess team performance, implement improvements, and drive results.
  • Cross-Departmental Communication: Utilize strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
  • Agile Tools and Technology: Adopt and implement Agile tools and technology.
  • Agile Implementation: Successfully implement agile techniques in diverse work cultures and environments.
  • Project Management: Manage agile projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Organizational Dynamics: Understand large, complex organizational dynamics and manage change effectively.
  • Leadership and Talent Development: Coach, mentor, and develop team talent.
  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, particularly in financial services, with excellent communication skills.
  • Coaching Experience: Provide coaching within large organizations or Fortune 500 companies.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a scaled Agile environment.
  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master in a scaled Agile environment.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to assess team performance, implement improvements, and drive results.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
  • Experience with Agile tools and technology adoption.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing agile techniques in diverse work cultures and environments.
  • Experience in managing agile projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Understanding of large, complex organizational dynamics and how change is managed within.
  • Strong leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team talent.
  • Strong commercial acumen, particularly in financial services, with excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in coaching at a large organization or Fortune 500 company.
