Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams to deliver business heavy projects and initiatives aligned with the corporate strategy. The current project is centred around Mental Health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, to deliver high quality solutions.
• Manage within scope, budget, and deliver high quality solutions on time.
• Accurately determine, assign, track and manage project task, activity, documentation in line with internal standards
• Develop and communicate realistic plans for the delivery of the assigned projects
• Manage resource capacity planning and allocations
• Create and / or support the development of project business cases
• Ensure all projects are successfully planned, monitored, documented, tracked, reported, integrated and implemented.
• Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated and communicated effectively
• Ensure compliance with Project and frameworks, and ensure client's policy, governance and delegation requirements are met.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including estimations and ongoing tracking.
• Ensure project benefits are identified, defined, tracked and aligned to organisational strategy.
• Utilise team feedback and metrics (e.g., quality, delivery, cadence, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and work with team to continuously improve.

Skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project delivery Demonstrated experience managing and delivering business projects within scope, budget and on time
• Experience in engaging and managing vendors to support project delivery.
• Ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication
