At NTT DATA, we are looking for an Project Manager to join our fast-growing team to work in our projects for the European Institutions within the Public Sector unit.

Job Purpose

As a Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams (e.g., business analysts, policy experts, operations, communications, and IT specialists) to deliver projects and programmes for European institutions and other public-sector clients.

You will ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in line with agreed objectives and quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the overall management of the project, ensuring the quality of the delivery and the daily management of the client. You will also contribute to the business development of the unit by leading tender responses and coordinating the different delivery units.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of projects within a client
• Lead the project team
• Creating project plans & monitoring project plan execution
• Ensuring quality of the projects
• Delivering projects on time, in scope and in budget
• Managing design principles, business requirements gathering and alignment with the client and project scope
• Managing project risks, issues and dependencies
• Participating in business development activities, leading proposals preparation or contributing in specific elements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting for public sector
• Knowledge about the European Institutions ecosystem and an interest in developing a career in an International Organisations ecosystem
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the public sector or similarly regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills in English; the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences. Additional EU languages are an asset

Minimum of 2 years:

• Project management in relevant projects
• Leading business development activities (tender preparation)
• Work experience of managing high visibility projects
• Experience developing business cases and decision support, and getting buy-in from senior management/sponsors
• Experience of being responsible for project design, development and delivery and managing expectations of sponsors
• Experience of working in projects with remote development teams
