Founding Engineer at EcoTech startup - Sweden Remote

My client, a rapid growth and profitable EcoTech startup based in Sweden, is looking for a remote first fullstack (React and Python) developer to join them as a founding engineer. Their product explores a unique niche, using an ML platform to analyse sound recordings for conducting ecological surveys with high precision, consistently ensuring that the full scope of biodiversity is accounted for.

In this role, you will have ownership over the entire platform. You will be responsible for developing and scaling the entire platform, optimising infrastructure for significant file size upload and throughput, developing new features for customers and defining the technical road-map for the companies growth over the next 5+ years.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in backend development roles
• Experience working at startups or working in high growth teams with significant ownership of products.
• Professional use of high productivity AI development tools
• Significant experience in building scalable infrastructure
• Experience with: Python (web framework + scripting), EC2, S3, Typescript (React/ Next)
