JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Digital team is pivotal in empowering LuxGive to build and scale the company's tech infrastructure, enabling us to fulfill our fundraising mission. 

We are looking for a Full-Stack Laravel Developer with strong backend skills and solid frontend experience in Vue.js. You will work on building, improving, and maintaining modern web applications using Laravel (including Laravel Reverb, Laravel Envoyer), MariaDB, and a Vue.js-based UI component system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Laravel.
• Develop, document, and maintain reusable Vue.js components.
• Implement UI component documentation and previews in Storybook  — nice to have.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Design relational database schemas and optimize queries for MariaDB.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and real-time features.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
• Use or support DevOps tools such as Docker and CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions) — nice to have.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Laravel (experience with Reverb is a plus).
• Solid experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3).
• Strong understanding of MariaDB: schema design, indexing, performance tuning.
• Good understanding of frontend build tools (Vite/Webpack).
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience using Storybook for UI component documentation.
• Experience with Docker in development or deployment pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Experience with Salesforce, SFDX, or integrating Laravel with Salesforce APIs.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest, Jest, Cypress).
• Experience with web-sockets, broadcasting, or real-time apps.
