Role Overview:
The successful candidate will support the strategy and impact team in presentations, other material preparation, analytical and data work. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with strong analytical skills, a willingness to learn, interest for climate issues, and relevant project or extracurricular experience.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare presentations, initial technical analyses and screenings of investment opportunities from an impact perspective, using quantitative methods and data analytics.
- Participate in research deep dives and analysis related to specific strategy, sectors or themes.
- Collect, clean, and analyse datasets related to climate/impact performance, applying statistical and machine learning techniques where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, environmental science, data science, sustainable business, finance, or a related field.
- Extracurricular involvement or project experience in climate impact, sustainability, data analytics, or related areas (e.g., university research projects, student organizations, internships, hackathons).
- Experience preparing technical reports, dashboards, or presentations (academic or extracurricular).
- Technical proficiency or familiarity with climate science, environmental policies, and sustainability frameworks is a plus.
- Experience or coursework in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences, both in writing and presentations.
- Eagerness and ability to learn quickly and adapt, take initiative, and contribute
- Collaborative team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
