IT Networking Engineer - Wireless Technologies

Job Purpose:

Prime purpose of the role is to support after-sales queries and provide complete solution to the networking and wireless technology portfolio. FAE-Wireless will support Easy World customers / System integrators by resolving complex technical problems by providing systems programming assistance, product / system trainings, troubleshooting, fault finding and coordinates hardware, software system project and attends to emergency situations onsite / offsites.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·      Responsible for all wireless technical support to sales on assigned brands.

·      Provide post-sales technical support for the complete wireless product and Industrial communication portfolio.

·      Excellent knowledge of wireless point-to-point and point-to-multipoint design and implementation knowledge / experience.

·      Supports sales team on RFQs / RFPs and all other technical queries in timely manner.

·      Prepares BOQ based for technical documents (RFQ, RFP and others)

·      Participates in customer meetings, Identify and gathers customer requirements, develop and propose system designs (high and low level as required), aiming to assist the customer with a highly reliable system and lower cost possible, yet ensuring maximum sales for the company.

·      Provide technical product presentation for functionality as well as conduct customer workshops and training as and when required

·      Become the Subject Matter Expert for the company’s products and solutions

·      Assist the Sales team as and when needed with Bid/Tender documents and proposals, from early-stage design, budget phase, proposal and also negotiation and clarifications.

·      Participate in network planning with customers to provide guidance on applications, usage, integration and best practices

·      Responsible for carrying out site visits for preparation of technical documentation as and when required by the company.

·      Active contribution with Sales teams to produce new and high-quality Case Studies, Applications Notes, White Papers, News Letters and other collateral material.

·      Create and Maintain the Reports to log and track their work, activities and services provided to internal teams and customers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong technical background in wireless communication technologies including Ethernet, IP Routing, TCP/IP protocols, Cybersecurity, and Broadband Wireless Technologies such as Wi-Fi (802.11), WiMAX, PTP/PTMP Radio Systems, and Microwave Links.
• Several years of experience providing technical and sales support for Layer 2 (Ethernet Switching) and Layer 3 (IP Routing) networks.
• Experience working in diverse industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Critical Infrastructure, Power & Water Utilities, Energy, Transportation, and other industrial automation environments.
• Good understanding of RF fundamentals, including link planning, interference analysis, antenna types, and frequency management.
• Ability to perform site surveys, spectrum analysis, and wireless network designs.
• Experience using common network tools such as Wireshark, Network Monitoring Systems, and Radio Link Planning Tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to multitask across various projects, highly self-motivated and a proactive self-starter.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills for both technical and pre-sales support.
• UAE Driving License holder would be preferred. 



Education and Experience:

·      Bachelors degree in Industrial Automation Engineering / Computer Science majoring in Networking / Telecommunication / Wireless Technology.

·      Cisco certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are highly desirable.

·      3-5 years of work experience as Service Engineer having worked in Industrial Automation Sector specifically as Wireless Engineer / Solution Consultant.

·      Prior Experience of working in distribution of Industrial automation, Networking, Wireless, CCTV, Telecommunication product service is preferred.
