This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of development experience who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and learning new technologies. Requirements
What You'll Do
- Implement front-end components, middleware, and APIs based on designs and standards provided by the software architect
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code according to team guidelines
- Resolve bugs and issues in existing internal systems
- Help identify issues during User Acceptance Testing
- Understand how different parts of the system interact and follow architectural patterns
- Adapt to evolving requirements and priorities under guidance
- Work with both Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases depending on project needs
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and debugging/troubleshooting
- Learn and grow by working closely with the architect and senior developers
- Provide system training and guidance to users when required
- 2-4 years of professional software development experience
- Ability to travel internationally for site visits and system rollouts when required
- Proficiency in JavaScript / React for front-end development
- Experience with C# / .NET for back-end development
- Strong understanding of SQL, including experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web application architecture
- Experience with personnel management, personnel profiles, employee record management and/or occupational health and safety system administration
- Experience using Entity Framework (EF) Core for data access
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to think in abstractions and understand how components and systems fit together
- Willingness to learn, follow architectural guidance, and adapt to evolving requirements
- Experience with Hangfire or similar background job scheduling systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps workflows
- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, and/or electrical utility industries
- Experience with SharePoint 2019+ or other document controls systems
