This is a SECRET Cleared Position supporting one of our clients with DOD.

Insight Global is hiring for a Web Developer supporting mission-critical delivery for a DOD client. This is a FULLY REMOTE opportunity, with the ability to start at the beginning of the year (January 5th).

Primary Responsibilities

- Design and develop user-friendly, accessible web applications.

- Implement APIs, front-end logic, and UI enhancements.

- Debug, test, and optimize web components.

- Work closely with UI/UX and software engineering teams.

Required Clearance and Certification

Active SECRET Clearance or higher

Active Security+ Certification

Desired Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

- 3–7 years of relevant professional experience.

Databases

• Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
• NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Query optimization & schema design

Front-End Development

- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)

- Responsive design & mobile-first development

- CSS frameworks: Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI

- Front-end frameworks/libraries: React, Vue, Angular

- State management: Redux, Vuex, Pinia, Zustand

- TypeScript

Back-End Development

- Server-side languages/frameworks:

- Node.js (Express, NestJS)

- Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI)

- PHP (Laravel, Symfony)

- C# (.NET Core)

- Java (Spring Boot)

- RESTful API development

- Authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT)

- Microservices architecture (optional but valuable)
