Job Title: Healthcare Project Manager

Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in Colorado)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Strong potential for extension or full-time employment)


We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to join our clients growing Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role will lead cross-functional initiatives focused on health plan systems and application implementations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects within healthcare organizations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles for system and application implementations within a health plan environment.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, and status reports.
  • Facilitate project meetings, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined scope, timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify project risks/issues and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Partner with business owners, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Adhere to EPMO methodologies, PMO governance, and best practices.
  • Provide consistent project reporting and visibility to leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing system and application implementation projects (non-infrastructure).
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with dispersed teams.
  • Must currently reside in Colorado.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a health plan, payer, or managed care environment.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
