PLVision is seeking a Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join an international team working on a new, high-impact product initiative. In this role, you will contribute to the development of an embedded networking solution based on SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud), the leading open-source network operating system widely adopted by hyperscalers and cloud-scale data centers.


Responsibilities
  • Develop a network operating system (NOS) for network devices such as switches and routers
  • Participate in developing NOS features for cloud and data center networking
  • Develop a library for modern ASIC configuration (SAI)
  • Investigate and resolve networking-related issues
Requirements
  • Proficiency in C/С++ programming
  • Knowledge of Linux as a working environment
  • Experience with Python, Bash, Docker, and Git
  • Basic knowledge of L2/L3, tunneling, routing, switching, and network protocols
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of technical English at an Intermediate level and higher
Would Be a Plus
  • Knowledge of NOS and switching silicon SDKs
  • Contribution to open-source projects
