We're seeking an experienced PHP Laravel developer to join our team. As a PHP Laravel developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, write clean and efficient code, and implement robust security measures to protect against vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

  • Implement robust security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools and techniques

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase

  • Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure that applications meet quality and functionality standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide support to other teams as needed





Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel framework

  • Strong understanding of PHP, Laravel, and related technologies (e.g. MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

  • Experience with version control systems like Git

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Experience with integrating third-party APIs (e.g. payment gateways, social media, etc.) and understanding of API design principles



Nice to Have


  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins or Travis CI

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
