The Company:

JBAndrews is currently working with a dedicated Project Freight Forwarder looking to add a Global Project Manager to their expanding team based out of Antwerp, Belgium due to a huge influx of new business.

The Global Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the logistics of highly complex and challenging projects across international locations. This role demands a seasoned leader capable of navigating the intricacies of multinational operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to international standards and regulations.

The Role:

• Direct and manage the planning, execution, and closure of global logistics projects
• Lead and motivate project teams located across different geographical regions
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with project logistics including regulatory compliance, geopolitical factors, and environmental considerations.
• Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-efficiency across all phases of the project.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Implement and advocate for continuous improvement initiatives in project management practices, aiming for higher efficiency and effectiveness.

The Requirements:

• Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, a related field or through experience.
• 10+ years experience in Logistics, with a proven track record of managing large scale complex projects
• Expert knowledge of global supply chain processes, and project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership qualities, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
