Senior Android Developer - London | Hybrid - £80,000 - £100,000 DOE

Are you an Android Developer looking for a little more autonomy within your role, or perhaps looking to make a few more impactful decisions? Perhaps you're working in a bigger team and constrained in terms of growth and leadership responsibilities? If this rings true, I'm hoping this is the role for you.

My client is looking for a new developer to join their cohort in the City of London, working hybrid 2–3 days per week in the office. Given the role’s seniority, you'll look to own the full end-to-end Android area; helping to influence technical direction with a direct correlation to how the company grows, looking to lead a team over time.

They're a consultancy, so you'll have an opportunity to get stuck into a wide variety of projects within the regulatory and data space. It would be beneficial for candidates to come from either a consultancy or regulated background, but this is very much a nice-to-have rather than a stringent requirement.

Within the role, you can expect to:

• Take ownership of Android development / ecosystem
• Build, evolve, and manage high-level mobile applications to ensure strong compliance, scalability, and performance
• Use your knowledge around best practices / architecture to help build / instruct
• Work closely within the wider firm (dev / product / affiliated technical roles) to deliver best-in-class service to clients
• Drive continuous improvement and performance

To be successful, you'll need to come equipped with:

• Senior-level experience in Android with Kotlin (6+ years)
• Strong experience in either enterprise-level or business-critical Android applications (thinking again about security / compliance)
• Demonstrable knowledge of architectural practices / designs
• UX / UI design principles, testing, and debugging
• Strong deployment skills
