My client is a fast-growing fintech innovator powering the next generation of crypto and Web3 companies. Our technology enables digital asset businesses—exchanges, wallets, layer-1s, DeFi platforms, and institutional trading firms—to operate securely, efficiently, and at scale.

As demand accelerates globally, we are expanding our commercial team and looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to drive growth and deepen our footprint within the crypto ecosystem.

The Role

You will own end-to-end growth across a portfolio of high-value crypto clients. This includes identifying new opportunities, engaging C-level decision-makers, and closing strategic deals with exchanges, protocols, infrastructure providers, and institutional digital asset players.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, emerging markets and is deeply connected within the crypto and Web3 landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy across key segments of the crypto industry
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Build strong relationships with founders, CTOs, Heads of Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Business Operations in crypto organisations
  • Identify partnership opportunities with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain ecosystems
  • Represent the company at crypto conferences, networking events, and industry forums
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to align go-to-market initiatives with customer needs
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and contribute to revenue planning

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships within crypto, Web3, fintech, or digital assets
  • Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem (exchange operations, custody, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, institutional crypto, etc.)
  • Proven track record closing high-value deals in a technical or emerging technology environment
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and established network within crypto/Web3
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
