CloudArch Sols Pty Ltd is an Australian technology company specialising in the design, development, and deployment of complex cloud-native applications, enterprise-level software platforms, and integrated digital solutions.
They now seek an experienced Software Engineer to join their technical team in West Pennant Hills NSW.
The Role
This is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $120,863 plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and clients to gather software requirements and prepare technical specification documents.
- Translate business requirements into practical and efficient software solutions.
- Participate in the collection, analysis, and documentation of functional and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to understand system requirements and design solutions accordingly.
- Interact with clients and internal teams to validate software requirements and functionality.
- Develop, analyze, and customize database objects including packages, stored procedures functions, cursors, triggers and views.
- Design and implement database structures including tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and database triggers.
- Write, update, and maintain program codes using PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript for Oracle Fusion Cloud and E-Business Suite modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, AP, PO, AR, GL).
- Implement software customizations and enhancements based on user requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain custom application forms, workflows and self-service pages, including internet-based applications such as i-Supplier, i-Procurement, and i-Expenses.
- Identify areas for improvement in existing programs and implement modifications to optimize performance and functionality.
- Develop web services and integration programs to connect Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud with other internal and third-party systems.
- Develop automation programs, approvals, notifications and integration logic using Oracle PCS, Oracle Integration Cloud Service and related tools.
- Develop new reports and customize existing business reports using Oracle Reports 10g, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (FAW) and PLSQL Programs.
- Participate in software-related CRM activities, including demonstrating software products and preparing technical proposals.
- Develop data migration and conversion programs to transfer data from legacy system into Oracle Fusion Cloud or E-Business suite with appropriate validation and error-handling.
- Design, develop, and modify Oracle Cloud PaaS components according to functional requirements.
- Develop PaaS and SaaS solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Develop full-stack software solutions, covering front-end, back-end, and persistence layers using Java EE and related technology.
- Create technical designs and specifications for web and mobile application development.
- Test, debug and modify software code to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with functional requirements.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for software applications to ensure stable operation and performance.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, inefficiencies, and process gaps.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, manuals and reference guides for developed software components.
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and documentation procedures.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-deployment support.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite 12c components such as BPEL, Mediator, OSB, BPM, and Human Workflow.
- Develop integrations between enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HCM) using webservices (SOAP/REST), JMS, AND adapters (JDBC, FILE, FTP, AQ, etc.).
- Work on end-to-end integration projects including analysis, design, development deployment, and support.
- Architecting and designing generative-Al solutions using Oracle's cloud stack and large language models (LLMs).
- Developing and implementing Al-driven content generation workflows, natural-language interactions, chatbots, summarization, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) solutions.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders (marketing, operations, R&D) to identify where generative Al can create value (e.g., content creation, summarization, conversational agents, knowledge retrieval).
- Translate use-cases into technical solution designs: data ingestion, prompt engineering, model selection, API integration, UI/UX for end users.
- Integrate agents with business systems: ERP, CRM, HR, supply chain embed into enterprise workflows to automate tasks end-to-end rather than just generate text.
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (postgraduate qualification desirable).
- At least 3 years' experience developing backend and integration components using PL SQL, Java, and JavaScript for Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E Business Suite
- At least 3 years' experience building and maintaining enterprise integrations using Oracle SOA Suite 12c components such as BPEL, Mediator, OSB, BPM, and Human Workflow
- At least 3 years' experience implementing web service integrations using SOAP, REST, JMS, and adapters such as JDBC, FILE, FTP, and AQ
- At least 3 years' experience developing forms, workflows, self service pages, and enterprise application extensions across modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR, AP, PO, AR, and GL
- At least 3 years' experience building custom reports using Oracle Reports 10g, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and PLSQL based reporting programs
- At least 3 years' experience developing full stack software solutions using Java EE or equivalent technologies across UI, server logic, and persistence layers
- At least 3 years' experience designing and building cloud based applications using Oracle PaaS and SaaS services including Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle PCS
- At least 3 years' experience designing and implementing generative AI solutions using cloud based LLMs
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and deliver high-quality outcomes within defined timelines.
