Mobile Tester

A functional mobile tester is a professional responsible for ensuring that the company's mobile applications function exactly as per software requirements and end-user expectations. The role involves a range of testing
activities to guarantee product quality on mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities

* Executing Test Cases: Performing manual and potentially automated tests to validate every feature and function of the mobile application

* Identifying Defects: Finding and documenting bugs, glitches, and other defects before the application is released to production

* Regression Testing: Running tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality of the application

* API Testing: Utilizing tools like Postman to test the application's APIs and ensure seamless data exchange

* Collaboration: Working closely with development teams and other functional groups to resolve issues and enhance the application's overall performance and robustness

* Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios.

* User Experience (UX) Evaluation: Assessing the intuitiveness of the graphic user interface (GUI) and the overall user experience

* Platform Compatibility: Ensuring the application works as expected across different mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) and devices


Required Skills and Tools

* Testing Methodologies: Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing tools.

* Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, Cypress, and JIRA.

* Technical Skills: Knowledge of programming concepts (e.g., Java for automation), and an understanding of IT and computer science principles
