SBN Super User (Key User / Business Support Specialist)

The SBN Super User (SBN SU) is the local expert and key user for our core operating system SBN and all related business applications. In this role, you ensure smooth daily operations, act as the first-line support for users and play a crucial part in optimising processes, data quality, and system usage.

You serve as the main liaison between the local organisation and the central development teams, translating business needs into actionable improvement requests and ensuring that all system changes are correctly communicated, implemented and adopted within the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, systems, people and process optimisation — and who wants to contribute directly to building a more efficient and future-proof organisation.

  • Ensure fast issue resolution while identifying recurring problems and structural improvements.
  • Maintain high data quality and operational continuity across all platforms.

User Management & Data Governance

  • Create and manage user accounts, access rights and action profiles, fully compliant with GDPR and internal data security standards.
  • Maintain and document changes to user rights and permissions.
  • Support mass data operations through Dataload, Python scripts or other automation tools.

Process & Quality Improvement

  • Collect, maintain and continuously improve operational processes related to SBN and connected applications.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies and error sources, and translate them into concrete improvement initiatives.
  • Organise and conduct structured and recurring data clean-ups.
  • Participate actively in development and cross-functional projects to assess impacts on daily business operations.

Change & Release Management

  • Act as key contact for central development releases and change requests:
    • Create and follow up on RFCs via IT procedures, Aha!, JIRA, etc.
    • Coordinate and communicate monthly sprint releases locally.
    • Translate system changes into user-friendly documentation and training materials.
  • Organise information sessions, training moments and release communications via SharePoint, email and meetings.

Knowledge Sharing & Continuity

  • Maintain and further develop the Competence Center SharePoint environment as a knowledge hub and innovation platform.
  • Develop work instructions and training materials to ensure continuity during absence periods.
  • Act as an active member within the Competence Center, supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience within operational production flows, with preferably strong knowledge of:
    • Data entry processes
    • Alarm handling

  • Comfortable working in dynamic, sometimes high-pressure environments.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and engagement.
  • Open to feedback and actively receptive to improvement requests from colleagues.
