We are looking for a People Systems Specialist to play a vital role in the day-to-day success and continuous development of our People solutions, with a strong focus on Oracle HCM.
In this role, you will act as a functional expert for one or more People process areas, ensuring that system usage supports agreed HR processes and the objectives of our People Plan.
“The newly founded People Systems & Data team plays a dual role: we support our businesses as trusted people partners while also owning People Systems and Data. Our mission is to democratize people data and turn it into clear, meaningful insights that empower everyday decision-making. Working closely with our IT colleagues, we shape HR tools together by prioritizing real business needs, designing smart solutions, and making sure they truly serve our people.” - Kirsi, Head of People Systems & Data
This role is tentatively planned to be primarily focused on Recruitment and Onboarding and Compensation-related process areas - such as Recruiting, Onboarding Journeys, Candidate and Offer Management, Workforce Compensation, and Salary Structures and Grades - while allowing flexibility based on the selected candidate’s background and strengths. Experience with reporting and analytics is considered a highly appreciated skill in this role.
In this role you will work closely with the People team, Tech (IT), and business stakeholders to maintain, develop, and continuously improve system functionality, while providing hands-on second-level (Level 2) support, resolving more complex issues escalated from first-level support.

As a People Systems Key User, you will:
- Act as the functional expert for your assigned People process area(s)
- Own the maintenance, usability, and continuous development of system functionality within your scope
- Support end users and ensure smooth and efficient system usage in daily operations
- Participate in system changes and development, including solution design, testing, and deployments
- Advise stakeholders and deliver trainings, user guidance, and documentation
- Monitor solution performance within your area and identify and report development needs
For you to succeed in this role, we are looking for:
- A relevant second level degree or equivalent degree
- 3–5 years of experience in similar demanding expert roles
- A solid understanding of HR SaaS systems, preferably Oracle HCM and in the mentioned process areas (Recruitment, Onboarding, Compensation). Reporting and analytics hands-on skills on Oracle HCM are highly appreciated.
- A proactive, development-oriented approach and strong interest in system and process improvement
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills to support change and cross-functional work
- Strong technical aptitude, the ability to learn quickly, and a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues in adopting new ways of working
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken) (Finnish-language skills being advantageous)
- A workplace where the game evolves – and so do you. You’ll face meaningful challenges and gain new skills while contributing to shared success – in Finland and beyond. We value curiosity and create the space for it to thrive.
- Inspiring and supportive teammates you can rely on. The best ideas and world-class entertainment are built together – and Veikkaus thrives because of its people.
