Backend Engineer (m/w/d)

As a Backend Engineer at Evernest, you will play a central role in the development and scaling of our platform. Your work will directly contribute to efficiently connecting real estate agents, buyers, and sellers.

Your potential at Evernest:

• Software engineering - You will create and improve software services, including APIs and data pipelines.
• Interface management - You will develop integrations with third-party providers and optimize ETL processes for our data warehouse.
• DevOps - You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the software you develop.
• Cloud-first approach - You will extend our services in the Kubernetes cluster.
• Testing & optimization - You will develop and conduct software tests and regularly collaborate with product management in order to continuously improve the product.

You bring this potential:

• Background - You have 1-2 years of experience in software development and have already successfully completed your first projects. Ideally, you have a Bachelor's degree in (applied) computer science or business informatics.
• Skills - You have sound knowledge of Python development, experience with Django is an advantage.
• Team performance - You have a thirst for knowledge and are interested in continuously developing yourself in a dynamic environment, enjoy working in a team and openly share your knowledge with your colleagues.
• Communication - You are able to engage stakeholders and involve them in technical discussions thanks to your fluency in English.
