What Awaits You

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Node.js developer to join our team and take ownership of developing and maintaining our application. As a developer, you will have significant autonomy and responsibility in shaping the technical direction of the project.

  • Design and implement scalable applications using Node.js and related technologies
  • Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database schemas
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Implement automated testing and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production
  • Manage database design, updates, and data migrations
  • Handle deployment and DevOps responsibilities in AWS/Azure
  • Maintain system security and implement best practices for data protection
  • Provide regular progress updates and documentation

What Should You Bring Along

  • University Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with Node.js development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6+ features
  • Extensive experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks
  • Proven experience with RESTful APIs design and implementation
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns
  • Expertise in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (particularly MongoDB)
  • Experience with version control systems (GitHub)
  • Proficiency in writing automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) with Playwright/Selenium
  • Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud platform
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with Docker and containerization
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Ability to make independent architectural decisions
  • Solid understanding of security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • German communication skills will be a plus
