Job Overview:

Estarta is seeking a highly skilled Security Network Consultant Engineer to support a strategic engagement with our partner Cisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and consulting on secure network infrastructures, with a strong focus on enterprise and service-provider environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on experience, and the ability to work closely with client stakeholders in a consultancy capacity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions in alignment with Cisco architectures and best practices.
  • Provide expert-level consulting and technical guidance on network security solutions for enterprise and large-scale environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and support F5 (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) solutions for application delivery and security.
  • Work with FedNet environments, ensuring compliance with required security and networking standards.
  • Perform network security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across multiple technologies and platforms.
  • Collaborate with Cisco teams, client stakeholders, and internal Estarta teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design documents, and implementation reports.
  • Support knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical recommendations to clients.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Security Network Engineer / Consultant in enterprise or consultancy environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco security and networking technologies (e.g., firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs).
  • Mandatory experience with FedNet environments.
  • Strong knowledge of F5 technologies, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or advisory role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Cisco and/or F5 certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE Security, F5 Certified Professional).
  • Experience in large-scale or multi-site network security deployments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security standards relevant to enterprise or government environments.
