Purpose
Responsible for supporting existing in-house and vendor applications, ensuring stable operations, high availability, and minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor application performance, identify issues, and analyze incidents.
- Document problems, resolutions, and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and issue resolution.
- Maintain system documentation, change logs, and operational procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, test, and communicate application changes, upgrades, and new releases.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
- Lead investigations and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex incidents.
- Take ownership of cross-functional issues and drive them to resolution.
- Participate in Change Management processes, ensuring proper approvals and rollback plans.
- Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and business users.
- Ensure business continuity during application updates, maintenance, and incident response.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of application support processes and Change Management.
- Experience working with in-house and vendor-supported applications.
- Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents under pressure.
