Full Stack Engineer

Java/ .NET Full stack Developer.

It’s Fulltime(Permanent) - Hybrid(2 days in office - Dublin 1)

We are interested in candidates with strong Java expertise. Ideally, we’re looking for:

• 6+ years of experience in a technology suite that includes either C# (.NET) or Java (Spring Framework), with skills in React, JavaScript, jQuery, and TypeScript.

For CVs with Java as a primary skill, that’s our main focus. But we’re seeking someone open to working with C# (.NET) and React in the future. This is necessary because we’re supporting an end-of-life Java product and need someone proficient in Java who is also willing to transition toward C# (.NET) and React.

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled IT Software Developers to join our dynamic Digital & Technology team. As a key player in our Digital Delivery team, you'll be instrumental in driving the strategic ambitions of our client. You will develop and deliver technical solutions within a customer-centric culture, enhancing the experience and performance of our digital properties

What you will help us to achieve

• Create Engaging Digital Experiences: Develop user-friendly web application interfaces that delight customers and advisors and are best-in-class digital experiences.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UX/UI designers, QA, business stakeholders, and the wider IT community.
• Lead the design and development of digital customer and advisor journeys on our digital properties.
• Contribute to strategic planning activities, including scoping and sizing.
• Perform critical analysis and peer code reviews.
• Represent the team in workshops to ensure optimal solutions.
• Mentor and train team members as needed.
• Collaborate with business partners and third-party vendors.
• Challenge team standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with new skills and technologies.

Desired Knowledge / Experience / Skills

• BSc degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 6+ years’ experience with a full technology suite including C# (.NET) or Java (Spring Framework), along with React, JavaScript, jQuery, and TypeScript
• Detailed knowledge of sql server
• Detailed knowledge of Cloud Azure services
• Knowledge of JSON over REST data exchange
• Understanding of UX principles and methodologies, including User-Centred Design and Design Thinking.
