Your Role:
As a Senior Cloud/Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on with Azure cloud projects, DevOps processes, and platform operations, contributing to the development of a stable, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure. This full-time role is hybrid, requiring minimum 2 days per week on-site in Unna or Fürth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate, modernize, and enhance the Azure platform (App Services, Managed SQL, Redis, Storage, Functions, Queue Storage)
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / OpenTofu) and declarative deployment processes
- Expand monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Sentry, App Insights)
- Take ownership of central operational tasks: updates, backups, cloud security
- Support development teams with cloud-related questions
- Collaborate closely with architects and Scrum teams
Your Profile:
- Experience with Azure is ideal but not mandatory
- Solid knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- CI/CD experience, preferably with GitHub Actions
- Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting expertise
- Basic container knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in IT infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps
- Independent, structured, and proactive
- Willingness to work hybrid: minimum 2 days/week on-site
